The Chicago History Museum is a visitor’s first stop in discovering the rich and vibrant history of Chicago. Showcasing items from a 22 million-piece collection, the Museum is also home to a world-renowned costume collection, as well as artifacts from the life and presidency of Abraham Lincoln. The Museum features a new exhibition on Chicago history entitled “Chicago: Crossroads of America” which explores the legacy of Chicago’s music, art, culture, commerce, politics, and architecture. The Children’s Gallery exhibition, “Sensing Chicago,” enables visitors to explore Chicago’s history through the five senses.
