Take a ride on Navy Pier’s most visible attraction, the 150-foot-high Ferris wheel. The Navy Pier Ferris Wheel, presented by McDonald’s, is year round fun for kids of all ages. Modeled after the world’s very first Ferris wheel, an engineering marvel constructed for Chicago’s 1893 World Colombian Exposition, the Navy Pier Ferris wheel lifts visitors to unparalleled sweeping views of the skyline and lakefront. Wacker Express) serve the Navy Pier. #124 Navy Pier Express runs from Union Station and Ogilvie Transportation Center on weekends.
Free Trolley: The Illinois-Grand Corridor Transportation Management Association (TMA) offers free daily trolley service between Navy Pier and State Street along Grand Avenue and Illinois Street. For more information, visit www.tylin.com/chicago/tma.
